Half is another popular local club with an orientation toward electronic music such as the underground and minimal house. The “new” Drugstore found its place in the former industrial quarter of Palilula municipality. After the great success, this underground club had in the Beko building downtown, they started a new concept in this new riveting venue which is a far cry from Berghain Berlin though, dark, raw, and rough around the edges, situated in what used to be a  slaughterhouse. The space is big (600 m2), it can accommodate up to  1000 people and it includes a wide cathedral-like room and corridors. The owners, some local guys, usually host big names from the underground electronic music scene and throw parties on two stages. Brace yourselves up for techno, underground house, and alternative bands from the local and international scene.  Let me drop a few names: Molly Nillson, Dasha Rush, Elektrabel, Jor, Dimi Angelis, and many more. A Drugstore is an independent club, that supports artists and local DJs such as Filip Xavi, Tijana T, Grof, Banda Panda, etc. It’s open on Fridays and Saturdays.

During the summer season, the Drugstore garden is open for visitors.

Barutana is an iconic open-air club. It stands in the Lower town of Kalemegdan Park. It’s known to host big names from the electronic music industry on weekends. Let me drop a few names: Miss Kittin, Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Clark, Tijana T… and many others from a local scene as well. The crowd is +20. Prices are affordable.
